How Sweet is the Yellow Flower Tree

With its branches of mossy green

With a sky of blue

And bird songs carrying truth

An ambulance passes the tree

Suddenly the bird isn’t the only thing that sings

How bitter is the yellow flower tree

That gets to see the yellow butterfly fly its wings?

And is mistaken for a bloomed leaf

Even after she is bare she just waits for the “when”

How savory of her to do it all over again.
